New Art New Genres:  Lo Yip-nang clay art exhibition

The "New Art, New Genres" Clay Art Exhibition, organized in collaboration with the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association and the Centre for Community Cultural Development, showcased the incredible talent of Lo Yip Nang, an artist with autism. On display were over 100 captivating clay art pieces, each unique and meticulously crafted to form a mosaic-like composition.

Clay art therapy has been scientifically proven to have a positive impact on those with psychiatric conditions, and Nang has found solace and fulfillment in his art. Through his perseverance and exceptional talent, he has inspired many others in similar situations to explore their own creative potential. The exhibition aimed to showcase Nang's ability, rather than his disability, and to demonstrate the power of art as a means of communication and self-expression.

The exhibition received widespread attention, with Radio Television Hong Kong capturing Nang's journey and showcasing it in the TV program "Wall-less World." This provided a platform for Nang to showcase his talent and highlight the importance of embracing and celebrating the abilities of individuals.
