Man, Nature and Infinity: Rashid Amin

Rashid Amin, a respected professor at Darka University in Bangladesh, holds a treasure trove of knowledge on the art of printmaking. With a deep appreciation for both Bangladeshi and Chinese printmaking techniques, he pursued his Bachelor's degree and later his PhD in the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, mastering the art form and speaking fluent Mandarin along the way. Amin's passion for printmaking is further rooted in his love of Chinese ancient poems, infusing a cultural richness into his work.

His solo exhibition in Hong Kong, "Man, Nature, and Infinity," explores the interplay between life experiences and the rules of nature, capturing the variations and uncertainties of existence through the medium of printmaking. Utilizing dry-point, etching, or a harmonious blend of both, Amin imbues each layer of his prints with a unique energy, showcasing a personal journey of thoughts and unexpected delights.

The Consulate of Bangladesh in Hong Kong was honored to serve as the guest of honor at this exhibition, which truly highlights Amin's mastery of printmaking and his unique perspective on the interplay between man, nature, and infinity.
