About CLOVER ART

As a globally-minded curator, Clover Art is passionate about fostering cultural exchange through contemporary art exhibitions. Clover Art is based in Toronto with roots in Hong Kong.  It serves as a bridge between East and West, showcasing international artists to a global audience.

Our chief curator Michelle has a diverse curatorial portfolio, featuring both established and underrepresented artists. She organized the "Touch Art Festival" in Hong Kong, a special event designed for those with visual impairments.  She also shines a spotlight on talented artists through large-scale exhibitions, specializing in contemporary paintings and sculptures. Michelle has curated over 50 exhibitions worldwide, including in Hong Kong, Milan, Los Angeles, and Toronto, featuring artists from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures.

Michelle's notable exhibitions include "La vie est belle," a solo show by renowned French artist Elizabeth Cibot in Hong Kong as part of the Le French May program, and "Fusion/Fission," a collaborative exhibition of artists from Japan, Korea, and Bangladesh who graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. With a wealth of experience in the public art sector, Michelle has collaborated on over 200 public art projects in Hong Kong and mainland China with organizations such as the Sun Hung Kai Group, Henderson Group, and Hong Kong Housing Authority.

Michelle holds a Master of Visual Arts in Experience Design from the Baptist University of Hong Kong, and has received curatorial training in Queensland, Australia and art leadership training at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, and New York University. With a Bachelor of Social Science in Government and Public Administration, a Master of E-commerce, and an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Michelle brings a unique perspective to the cultural and commercial aspects of the art world.

Clover Art's cultural exchange project, "Chu Tat-Shing Solo Exhibition" in Los Angeles and Toronto in 2023 showcased Bruce Lee's life-size sculptures and a series of seminars. The exhibitions highlighted our unwavering commitment to cultural exchange and elevating the work of talented artists. We are also dedicated to advancing art education and have organized workshops in schools and given talks to students, with the aim of making art education more accessible to all.
